Garden Grove highlight
Christ Cathedral landmark
Christ Cathedral, completed in 1980 and designed by renowned architect Philip Johnson, is a 34-acre campus with a glass structure that was the world's largest glass building when unveiled.

Christ Cathedral opened in 1980 on a 34-acre campus in Garden Grove, the work of founder Robert H. Schuller and architects Philip Johnson and John Burgee. The building's most recognizable feature is its soaring glass structure, which held the distinction of being the world's largest glass building when it was completed. The cathedral's architectural ambition reflected mid-century optimism: a transparent structure designed to welcome the community and let natural light shape the worship space within.
In 2019, Christ Cathedral was redesignated as a cathedral by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange and underwent restoration and rededication. Today the campus serves multiple communities: Sunday masses are offered in English, Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Filipino, reflecting the diversity of Orange County and Garden Grove itself. The cathedral complex includes the St. Callistus Chapel, Marian Gardens, the Our Lady of La Vang Shrine honoring Vietnamese Catholic traditions, and cultural facilities that draw over 10,000 faithful weekly and serve many more for cultural events, tours and celebrations.
A landmark like Christ Cathedral—standing for decades, serving families at life's important moments—is a reminder that planning ahead matters. Life insurance serves a similar purpose: it stands by the people you name, ready to protect their futures if the worst happens. Whether your family is young and building a home, or established and planning legacies, the right coverage amount and term length keeps that protection in place for the years that matter most.
